Free Geek (TC Open Circuit) has leased a space at 34th St S and Chicago in Minneapolis!
It is an awesome building that is getting fixed up right now and will have other cool organizations in the building as well (like a thrift store).
We should be able to be fully in by October 1st and hopefully be able to do some set up before that.
We are having a meeting at 11AM this Saturday at the Walker Library. We want you to be there! We are at the point where we need to start looking at technical details and start getting the word out and fundraising. So, if you are interested in those things, please come; or if you just have a desire to help, we can find something for you.

Geek Meeting
In today’s day and age, meeting Mr. or Ms. Right can be a risky proposition. Many stories have appeared recently about the dangers of meeting people on the internet. Certainly the most horrendous stories are those of adult predators enticing minors atlanta investment property. Other problems involved married people representing themselves as single, scam artists seeking love-starved people to finance their lives, and foreigners looking to get married just for the purpose of being allowed to leave their current country.

Myspace.com and Facebook (which focuses on students) have been particularly prevalent in these articles, especially regarding adult predators, but they are not the only sites that pose such risks. The rapid growth of social network sites such as these and the more traditional dating sites is probably the reason for their dominance in the press home loans. The same dangers that apply to internet dating sites also apply to any situation in which two people meet for the purpose of romance.
